History

CSI Diocese in Coimbatore founded the college on 20th  of September 1995.It was named Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science  after the first Bishop in Coimbatore Diocese. Bishop Appasamy was a renowned scholar whose passion for writing was only overpowered by his love for reading .He authored many books on various subjects including one on meeting Sadhu Sundar Singh in Oxford, regarded as a classic creation. He was a great spiritual reviver of CSI Coimbatore Diocese, always remembered by us as a true gentleman which he was. The college has completed 16 years, it has established itself as a well-respected institution in the city. With the continued effort  and support of many, the college now stands tall with 123 university ranks out of which 18 are first ranks.
